  • President Thomas Jefferson writes a letter for Meriwether Lewis
  • To Meriwether Lewis, Every nation has the idea of expanding, that's why I'm sending you out to explore our new territory, but when you encounter the natives, treat them with kindness, insure them that you are not hostile, and that we favor to be useful to them, and trade with them.   • While J. Field was on post, a Native snuck behind him and stole his gun, he started to run away with it until Drewyer got up and chased him.
  • Document B (Part 1)
  • After being chased then stabbed fatally in the heart by Drewyer, the Native fell to the floor, dead. He left 4 shields, and 2 bows and quivers around the fire, along with leaving a medal around the dead mans neck
