- Cherry is now our spy
- I think we should turn ourselves in
- There's a fire at the church
- At the end of chapter 5 and beginning of chapter 6, Dally reveals that Cherry is now their spy. This is a big surprise to Johnny and Ponyboy because they are greasers and cherry is a soc.
- THERE ARE KIDS UP THERE
- Dally, Ponyboy and Johnny were at a diner and Johnny wanted to turn himself in. After a while they go back home and they can see the church from where they are.
- Lets get those kids out using the window
- Where am I
- On the way back Ponyboy looked as white as a ghost because he had saw that there was a fire at the church. He told Dally to go back and see if anyone needed help. Dally rushed to the church as fast as he could.
- Your in an ambulance because of the fire
- When Pony and Johnny got to the church they noticed that there were kids inside. Even though they were very scared, they went inside to save the kids.
- Hot and smokey, Pony and Johnny went inside to save the kids. They decided the best way to save them, was to throw them out the window and have someone catch them. They were both apprehansive that he was going to hurt them.
- The smoke was so bad that Johnny and Ponyboy had passed out. They had woken up in an ambulance were someone had told them everything that had happened. Ponyboy had keeled over from the smoke.
