Storyboard Text

  • Yes honey he is a hero, your father is fighting a rough battle to save us from the terrible Englishmen.
  • A Lot Of Support From Colonists
  • I am so proud of my dad for joining the army, and saving our home.
  • Familiar With Territory
  • Absouletely Commander Lee,  the British doesn't even know this pace exists which makes it perfect.
  • This would be a good position for our meen to do their overwatch.
  • Support From The French
  • The King said he would be more than happy to supply your country with anything needed to win the war.
  • Nous sommes plus qu'heureux de vous fournir tout ce dont vous avez besoin, George.
  • Génial!
  • Unlike the British, the American Continental Army had all the support of the colonies. Colonists would use their own money to buy weapons and food for many of the men in the army. The colonists believed that the army was fighting for their freedom and their land.
  • Disease Spread Like Wildfire
  • I promise you it is just a cough General Washington.
  • Being as though the americas were a new territory for the British, they were not familiar with the terrain. They had a harder time moving throughout the Americas and as a result, Guerilla warfare was used against them.
  • Lack of Soldiers
  • France helped support the Continental Camry by supplying gunpowder, cannons, clothing and shoes. They later established the Treaty of Alliance which enabled France to give money and materials to the Continental Army to fight against the British.
  • No Money Because There Were No Taxes
  • Citizens are not getting taxed, so yes we are running low on funds. MAN UP!
  • Being as though the men in the Continental Army were staying in the same quarters (many times 12 in one hut), diseases spread rapidly. Smallpox was one of th most common diseases that killed many uring the war.
  • Everyone just calm down.
  • The Continental Army was always short of qualified and capable men. George Washington never had more than 20,000 soldiers at one time. Their army was very inconsistent, soldiers would leave the army to go home to their families or men would join too late.
  • Where are your men, soldiers?!!!
  • The colonists were not being taxed so there was no way for the Continental army to get any money fro sullies. As a result, there was food shortages, housing was very difficult, and there were not enough guns and ammunition.
