the water in the lake is getting hot from the heat of the sun, and soon some of the water in the lake will turn into steam and turn into clouds.
you can't see it in real life but the water is slowly going into the air and forming clouds from evaporation
Evaporation
the water from the lake is now turning from a liquid to a solid from cold temperatures and will soon become a snowflake, When the water is collected in the clouds it's called condensation
Condensation
The water in the clouds has frozen up while in the clouds and it's now snowing because the clouds became too heavy for them to carry any more water. Some of the raindrops in the clouds were carried up into extremely cold parts of the atmosphere and became hail. This is the part of the water cycle called precipitation
Precipitation
Now that all the snow and hail have hit the ground the cycle will start again when all the snow and hail melt. once all the ice on the lake melts and summertime comes around the cycle will repeat itself. This part of the cycle is called the collection
Now the cycle will start all over and it will go for as long as the world is alive
