- The Rise of the Roman Republic: The Perspective of the Plebieans
- 509 BCE: I am a Plebiean. With my fellow Plebieans and Patricians we overthrew the Etruscan Kings. We can now take their resources. The unjust Patricians however will use us for no cost at all for labor. I can't imagine this being my life forever. I hope we can gain power over these unjust and cruel rulers of ours.
- 494 BCE: My fellow Plebieans and I waited on a nearby hill because we wanted equality. We are going to stay here until the Patricians give us more rights. I am sick of those wealthy Patricians bossing us around. They'll see how important we are and give us anything we want just for us to come back

- 451 BCE: Finally, those vicious Patricians gave us some portion of power but we are going to strive for equality. I'm going to make sure those Patricians write down their laws so they can't change them in any way for their advantage.
- 367 BCE: A new law came upon us that said that one of the two consuls must be Plebeian. Now the cruel and unjust Patricians can't take all the power. Former consuls also becaome part of the senate so WE can have spots in the Senate. We now have a chance of having EQUALITY. I feel that we should take the power entirely from those malicious Patricians because we are the thing they depend on, LABOR!
- 287 BCE: Finally, we now have EQUALITY! We now rule over all citizens in Roma and can veto and approve laws at our own will! The Patricians could have never seen this coming. The Roman assemblies can now nominate more Plebeians as consuls an tribunes. AFTER 200 YEARS WE HAVE REACHED OUR GOAL!!!
