  • If we come together and all put in the work, we can improve.
  • The Zigzag Road to Rights showed that change is not a steady path, it changes, it gets better and worse. It explained that there are steps forward and backward. It shows the struggle for freedom changes in some ways, but it also goes back to how it used to be. Change is not a steady thing, it never has been.
  • Brown v. Board of Education
  • The white people thought that America had improved a lot because they ended racism. Black people knew that change had happened and American had improved but knew it still needed to improve. They knew they still weren't equal but they were getting closer.
  • The Social Dilemma
  • Lincoln explained that the citizens needed to want change and aim for it if it is to happen. Change is possible if everyone tries to create change. He said how even though there has been change there still needs to be more change because it is currently not enough.
  • Black people don't have to fight for freedom anymore but they do have to fight for equality. There is still a fight for change but the fight for freedom for black people is close to success, equality is another story, however.

  • People still want freedom, however, the people they are fighting against and who is fighting are different. Now it is people fighting against technolegy to be in control. People are always fighting for freedom but because of different reasons.
