- We are going to play the figure it out game. In this game you will get a equation card. What you have to do is to figure out the sum(answer) and then decide if it is subtraction or addition.

- Learners will demonstrate addition and subtraction on their boards. The teacher will be going around monitoring all they are doing and asking them to share with the rest of the class what they did. NB!! We start with addition then demonstrate. Then we do subtraction then demonstrate.
