- A DEGREE FROM THE PHARAOHIf an Israelite baby boy is discovered drown him in the Nile-xoxo pharaoh
- The King of Egypt had a talk with the two Israelite midwives. He said when an Israelite women gives birth, look at the baby. If it is a boy, kill him; if it is a girl, let her live. But the midwives had too much respect for god and didn'tdo what the king ordered. So Pharaohissued a general order to his people.
- Go and find a woman to nurse him.

- An Israelite man and woman got married. The woman became pregnant and had a son. She saw there was something special about him. She hid him for three months. When she couldn't hide him anymore she put the child in a basket and let him float away in the nile.

- The babys older sister found a hiding place to watch him float away. Pharaohs daughter came down to bathe in the nile when she saw the baby in the basket going towards her. She went out and said this must be one of the Israelite baby's . Then the sister went to get a nurse for the baby.
- After the child was weaned, she presented him to pharaohs daughter who adopted him as a son. She named him Moses.
