"I'm Santa Anna by the way!"

The Law of April 6th is what stopped immigration from the USA which upset many colonists because they had family in the USA.
The arrest of SFAJanuary 1834-1835
"WHY AM I IN JAIL!!! I DEMAND TO KNOW THE ANSWER!"
"I need to lock this up tight..."
"I want peace!"
When the tax collector came around to collect taxes the colonists refused to pay the taxes. Mean Bradburn had the people who refused to pay the taxes arrested which made even more people angry at him.
The 2nd AnahuacJanuary 1835
"I want independence!"
The Anglo-American settlers were having conflict with Santa Anna. Santa pretended to fight against the centralists so the colonists would think that he was a Federaliist and support him. He later came into power in 1833.
Maybe I am Maybe I'm not! HAHAHA
" Hey WE THOUGHT YOU WERE A CENTERALIST?"
Steven F. Austin travels to Mexico to see Santa Anna. SFA writes a letter back to Texas while waiting for Santa Anna and says that people in Mexico are crazy, and that they do not have anything that Texas will need. He gets thrown in jail for writing that letter.
"You wrote that letter not me!!!"
The colonists are already furious at the Mexican Government and when they try to collect taxes of course they refuse to pay. They called for a consultation and some wanted independence and some wanted peace but SFA voted for independence.
"I vote for independence as well it seems like the more beneficial solution."
