  • Ralph, Piggy, and Jack were taling about names when Jack called Piggy a fatty.

  • Ralph brought up the idea of having cheifs, and Rodger asked for a vote.
  • "We need to decide bout being rescued. Semms like we ought to have a cheef to decide things."

  • "Lets Hve a vote."
  • Ralph finally gets voted as cheif because the majority of the boys chose him.
  • "Im cheif then."
  • "Him with the shell... Let him be cheif with the trumpet thing!"
