- Bud and Bugs meet the people of the Hoverville town and they feed them supper.
- Bud and denza malone kiss after they talk about Bud's mom while cleaning dishes.
- Bud is on his way to Grand Rapids and meets Lefty Lewis who decides to take him to Grand Rapids where he thinks Bud is from.
- Bud finds his belived dad with his band while they are practicing.
- Bud goes to the bookstore and finds out how far The Grand Rapids is from Flint.
