  • The great depression started after the stock market crash in October in 1929, it sent panic and wiped around all million investors
  • How it impacted people
  • I have no more money
  • The great depression went on from 1929 to 1939. By 1933 is when the great depression reached the lowest point 15 million Americans were unemployed
  • The discrimination that happened
  • All of the men's jobs have been cut
  • Farmers could not afford to harvest their crops and the framers forced to let them rot in the fields while people that were somewhere starved
  • Discrimated against
  • On black Tuesday 16 million people another wave of panic swept the wall street and ended up worthless and investigated who bought stocks

  • African-Americans were the first to have their jobs and hours cut since they were experienced the highest unemployment during 1930
  • The great depression impacted the African-American for decades to come and spurred the rise of the African-American activism that laid the groundwork for the civil rights movement
