THE ONE WHO ESCAPED

- Once upon a time, there was a boy named Alexander. He was born on 16th of July 1730 in Sallee. His parents died when he was 5 years old. So, he was given to an orphanage. But the owner of the orphage was very cruel and was a very bad person, he also had many boats which he would use to buy with the money he got for the children. He used to hit the children and did'nt let them study, but Alexander used to steal books because he wanted to study. After reading a few books he became interested in travelling by sea. So, he made a plan and tried to escape from there and travel through sea.
- He thought that he will be able to escape easily at night when everybody will be sleeping and would also be able to take the owner's boat. So he waited for everyone to fall asleep at night. Then he slowly opened the window of his room and jumped outside. Then he went to the place where his owner kept his boats and took one of them. After that he walked to the sea, sat on the boat and started his journey. But he did'nt knew what was going to happen with him. Soon, that day a dangerous storm took place. Alexander was scared and tried to get to the shore as fast as he could ,but unfortunately he could not. His boat didn't last long and broke into two. He fell into the sea and thought that he was going to die. Soon after that a wave carried him to the shore and he fainted.
- Next day when he woke up ,he saw that he was stranded in the Amazons and was very upset. Well he used to read books so he knew how to survive there. He got up and went in search of food. He knew that no one would come there in seach of him as he was an orphan but still he had a hope and want to survive . At last he found a place where there were mushroom growing. So he ate that. He was all alone and used to stay in a cave. A few days later he saw some footprints and came across a boy. He was shocked to see him. The boy's name was John and he had a big family. John told Alexander that he was exploring forests and got stranded here. Soon they both became friends. A few days later a ship came across that island, the boys were shocked to see it and waved towards them. The captain saw them and they were rescued. Then they found that John's parents sent that ship and were looking for John. Both of them were happy and Alexander started living with John and his family.
