- By 1316, the famine had progressed, causing even the upperclassmen, such as the King, to not have access to food.
- Oh no! Whatever will we do!
- Your majesty, the food supply has run short! The kingdoms food has grown scarcer than ever!
- In the spring of 1316, the rain still continued, causing further crop failure. Society continued decline, hitting the peasants the hardest as they made up 95% of the population
- As food grew scarcer, families began abandoning their children as they were extra mouths to feed, and in some extreme cases... they would eat them!
- Our parents abandoned us in the woods to fend for ourselves! Who would do such a thing!
- They did it so that they didn't have to starve! But now we are just as doomed!
- The elderly, such as Mr. and Mrs. Smith Senior, chose to let the younger generatons have whatever little food there was left, sacrificing themselves
- It's okay Jan, we are doing what is best for our children and grandchildren
- By 1317, the rain had started to end, however people were so weakened by diseases such as pneumonia, bronchitis, and tuberculosis, further inhibiting life and economic stability
- Here is a blanket dear, we need you to rest in order to try and overcome this illness!
- It wasn't until 1325 that the economy and living conditions began to return to normal. Fortunately, the Sith faily was able to overcome all of the hardships they encountered, and live happily ever after!
