- When Slaves heard about the Underground Railroad. they all tried to escape to it so they can be free. Canada was the free state.
- Harriet Tubman was the conductor and the she also led some slaves down to the Underground Railroad.
- When the slaves reached Canada they were all free and they did not have to worry about working for other people and they did not have to worry about looking or going back.
