- This is Sheri. She is a 24 year old police officer in Fort Worth Texas.
- Sheri's husband Matt is also a police officer. They have a 4 month old baby named Adrienne.
- Sheri graduated college in 2020 when she was 22 years old with a criminal justice degree. She attended UT Tyler. Upon graduation when she reached the minimum age of 21, she enrolled in the Fort Worth Police Academy. She was in the academy for nine months.
- AS a relativelynew officer, Sheri's day to day tasks consist of respondingto calls and occasionally making traffic stops when necessary.
- These calls consist of things like traffic accidents, assaults, domestic disturbances, thefts, and more severe criminal offenses such as murder and armed robbery.
- Officer Sheri is well equipped with training on what to do in this situation from the academy. She has called for back up and is currently working to deescalate this situation. Sheri is faced with a dangerous situation here. Action is necessary. She will choose to handle this situation knowing her life is at risk.
- This man is acting highly aggressiveafter being approached by Officer Sheri. She approached him after receiving a call that a man wearing striped clothing was acting disorderly and threatening and attempting to hurt people with his scissors.
- The violent man has been arrested by Officer Sheri for his choices. Now she can go home safeto her husband and baby.
