- Aspen sneaks out that night and stumbles upon a mysterious portal(Realisation)
- The group enters the dimension the next day prepared (Attempt to Repair)
- They encounter deadly monsters and must fight them (Attempt to Repair)
- A panning shot shows Aspen finding a mysterious portal. In this scene we hear a gasp from Aspen and her footsteps echoing in the library to show that nobody is around. We see a shocked face from Aspen. The lighting will be low-key to show how mysterious and odd this portal is.
- Aspen starts to lose hope, but they find a clue (Attempt to Repair)
- A POV shot of Aspen walking through the portal and entering this odd dimension. In this scene we see this odd world and the group with weapons. We hear swooshes and odd noises as Aspen walks through the portal, and screeches and roars from inside. The lighting is low-key.
- They find the missing person, but realise they are lost(Attempt to Repair)
- A tracking shot of the group fighting the monsters. In this scene we see the group trying to fend them off, and we hear grunts from the kids and roars from the monsters. Kori gets an injury to his leg and needs assistance walking. The lighting is low-key.
- They find the way out but are ambushed by the creatures (Attempt to Repair)
- A tracking shot where Aspen is about to give up. Aspen says “I hate to say it, but if Ari were… still alive… I think we would’ve found her..” Kori says “Don’t say that Aspen, are you really going to give up that easily?!” Kori then spots a piece of a ripped up tie. “ASPEN! THIS WAY!”. The lighting is low-key and we hear roars echoing the forest.
- A tracking shot of Aspen running to Ari and hugging her, but then realising they are all lost. In this scene we hear Aspen shout “ARI!” and the sound of running footsteps. The lighting goes from dull to high-key in this moment to symbolise triumph.
- An extreme long shot shows the kids finding the exit, but suddenly being ambushed by monsters. In this scene we hear sighs of relief from the characters, but then sudden roars and shrieks from the monsters. The lighting is high-key to show this is a life or death moment.
