  • Storming of the Bastile
  • A general of each estate met and made the National Assembly to create their own laws.
  • March on Versailles
  • King Louis XVI did not appretiate the idea of the National Assembly, but he only shut down their facility, not their group. The National Assembly went to a nearby tennis court and swore to keep the group until the king sees it as a true part of government.
  • Execution of a Kind and Queen
  • The King's evident oppression made revolutionaries upset. They overthrew the fort of Bastile, beginning the ending of the King's reign.
  • Many women and some men expressed that they found prices of food unfair and went after the king and queen. They marched to the Palace of Versailles, not allowing the royals to return for their safety.
  • Due to the unwillingness to give in to the revolution, King Louis XIV and his queen Marie Antoinette were executed.
