- Art and craft was an important culture in the Indus Valley Civilization They have been practising sculpting, polishing beads, and making seals. Copper and bronze were used for making vessels, ornaments, tools and weapons.

- The most notable artistic achievement of the people of the Indus Valley Civilization was perhaps in their seal engravings, especially those of animals which looked very realistic. Around 2000 seals have been found during excavations at various Harappan sites.
