- In the New England colony, there are boats for shipping for economic reasons, a church for the pruitans, a guy fishing for food, and to trade. They had the Mayflower Compact, and Fundemental Orders of Conecticut. They had long harsh winters, short warm summers, natural harbors, and forests for lumber, and fur to trade.
- In the southern colony they had farms for growing rice, indigo, tobacco, and cash crops. They had churches for practicing different religions, The southern colony had fertile soil, year long growing season, and had a humid climate, Which is why they had slaves because it would be easier to grow crops. Had the Virginia House of Burgess what was the first representative government in colonies.
- Had fertile soil and moderate climate, known as the breadbasket colonies, traded, wheat, oats, rye, and slavery was allowed. Quakers came to Pennsylvania for religious freedom, and tolerence. The middle colonies were very diverse, They practiced the quaker religion there. For political they elected their own legislature, by an assembly called the freeman.
