Summary of The epic of Gilgamesh
Storyboard Text
- Gilgamesh was created by God with a perfect body and strength power. He also becomes the most popular epic king in history. Before he comes to a king, he wants to learn about the secret of everlasting life and his journey begin in here.
- The gods created Endiku to bring down Gilgamesh a bit. Gilgamesh fights with Endiku, and he defeated Endiku. They also become best friends later.
- Gilgamesh and Endiku fight with Humbaba for a challenge. With the help of God Shamash, they defeated Humbaba.
- God Enlil gets mad and he sent a bull to punish Gilgamesh and Endiku. Because Gilgamesh was killing Humbaba. But Gilgamesh and Endiku still defeated Bull.
- After he helped Gilgamesh defeated Humbaba and Bull. The gods cursed him, make he feels shame. And he also died of an illness instead of bravely in battle.
- Finally, Gilgamesh concluded his journey of immortality after given a second to prove the worthiness of getting the secret. He lost his chance of immorality while the snake gained it. He accepts his death and learned that something just is.
