- he is using ethos right here because MLK initial words are a call for unity and to take a united stand against discrimination and this gives ethical appeal. This is figurative language because he is exagerating about this being the best spech ever.
- He uses pathos here to appeal to his entire audience and the Martin Luther Kings idea of the American dream is that everyone deserves freedom and equality which is a thing people can relate to. This can be repetition because he keeps repeating the word dream and saying he has a dream.
- He is using logos right here because hes talking about a bad check and comparing it to the evidence to the black people not having a fair chance of being cheated with money. This is loaded language because of bad checks to symbolically show that they are not giving the same rights.
