- In order to pay our debts, we should impose taxes to Americans.
- There should be no taxation without representation!

- Britain was in great debt, so the British Parliament created a series of taxes that American colonists hat to pay.
- 1767
- We won`t be able to purchase paint or paper, glass, lead, and tea anymore because of how high taxes are now.
- American Colonists were frustrated and angry at Britain for imposing "taxation without representation".
- We shall not pay extra money for basic products. Stop now!
- The Stamp Act taxed colonists on every piece of printed paper they used.
- In 1767, it went further, taxing essential products like paint, paper, glass, lead, and tea.
- More and more people were furious at the lack of representation from them in the British Parliament.
