  • Sounds magnificent!
  • In order to pay our debts, we should impose taxes to Americans.
  • There should be no taxation without representation!
  • 
  • The Stamp Act -1765-
  • Britain was in great debt, so the British Parliament created a series of taxes that American colonists hat to pay.
  • 1767
  • We won`t be able to purchase paint or paper, glass, lead, and tea anymore because of how high taxes are now.
  • American Colonists were frustrated and angry at Britain for imposing "taxation without representation". 
  • We shall not pay extra money for basic products. Stop now!
  • The Stamp Act taxed colonists on every piece of printed paper they used. 
  • In 1767, it went further, taxing essential products like paint, paper, glass, lead, and tea.
  • More and more people were furious at the lack of representation from them in the British Parliament.
