Tybalt wants to fight Romeo because Romeo went to the Capulets party which is external conflict but Romeo is married to Tybalts cousin which shows internal conflict and that Romeo cant fight him.

Tybalt kills Mercutio who is Romeos bestfriend. Romeo then decides that he must avenge Mercutio. Him and Tybalt fight AND Romeo kills Tybalt. This represents external conflict.
Romeo is banished from Verona.
Juliet is supposed to be marrying Paris but she doesn't want to. She and Romeo are already married but Romeo was banished from Verona . In order to get out of this conflict, Friar Lawrence gave her a potion which would make her sleep for 48 hours so he can come get her for her to get to Romeo. Juliet has to decide whether to drink it or not because she thinks the potion might kill her which shows internal conflict.
Since Romeo doesnt fight, Mercutio decides to fight for him. Tybalt strike Mercutio under Romeos arm. Mercutio then dies but before he dies he says " A plague o' both your houses! This represents external conflict
Since Romeo killed Tybalt, the prince of Verona banished him from Verona instead of killing him because Tybalt killed Mercutio. This represents a internal and external conflict.
Juliet decides to drink the potion since it is the only hope she has of escaping the conflict and to be with Romeo, this represents internal conflict.
