This is my bedroom. it gets very cold at night when I don't have anything to warm me up, so I tell my mom to turn on the heat so the air particles can collide with the room temperature and cause everything to warm up.
My air vent is the only thing that keeps me warm during the night. It runs on radiation waves. This heat travels from high to low causing the heat to spread throughout the room to keep me warm. this can also be called radiation. this means that the heat transfers through magnetic waves. The air vent is the little grey rectangle in the bottom left corner.
I 'm so hot...I must go turn down the heat. OUCH!!!
the heat from my vents fills my room which causes the heat to go from high to low causing it to warm up my room as quickly as the particles let it. the particles create kinetic energy which causes them to collide with other air particles getting the average of both particles and averaging to one specific temperature.
The walls in my room are a thick material we call the insulator. The installation helps keep all the warm air particles in so that my room can be the temperature we want it to be. Installation is a thick material that helps protect our houses from the air particles outside of our house. (highlighted in black)
the heat from the air vent has created enough kinetic energy to where it can collide with the girl. this causes the girl to get too hot and start to cry. the heat particles have collided with the room temperature particles and caused this commotion to where the girl gets too hot. this is called conduction.
this is called convection. this is when cooler molecules are affecting the warmer molecules to cool things down. now all the heat os traveling to the ceiling. heat travels from high to low and this causes the room to be cooler as the fan spins.
