- This is caused by your body's inability to produce insulin.
- Insulin is responsible for moving blood sugar into your muscles and providing energy.
- It's essential to keep your levels under control, not too high or too low.
- Which is difficult to achieve, so don't be discouraged if you don't get it right every time.

- When your blood sugar levels are consistently above 13 for an extended period of time. Ketones occur when there isn't enough insulin supplied, or when the insulin isn't working properly. Allowing the cells to use glucose for energy might cause your blood to become acidic, making you sick.
