- In the beginning of the story, Cedrick is walking home from watching the movies. Then Socs come up to cedrick and ask if he needs a haircut but when he says no they put the blade to his throat. After that he got saved by other man, then the next day he explained what happened.
- Climax
- What made it bad was that Cedrick couldn’t defend himself because there was no one there and he was outnumbered.
- Falling action
- Hurry we need to check on Miguel!
- They were going to beat him up or kill him because he get a blade to his throat.#160;This is another rising action because it is the other part of the problem.
- Resolution
- The Socs and Greasers fight in the rumble.
- After the rumble they go see if Miguel is okay because Miguel was dying. Daren ran out and Cedrick wouldn’t except the fact that Miguel died.
- The end of the story is when Cedrick rang up his teacher to ask how long the report could be. When he started to do his theme there was only one thing on his mind. He was thinking about Linc and a ride home.Instead of Cedrick giving up , he ended up writing a whole book.
