- The Jury has found the defendant guilty of Gabriel Berenson's Murder.
- I would like to treat Alicia Berenson.
- You may begin having sessions with her.
- Don't tell me how to treat my patients. But since Diomedes supports your decision, I will take it into consideration.
- Please lower Alicia's medication dosage.
- Alicia Berenson is convicted for the murder of her husband, Gabriel Berenson. She refuses to speak during her trial, and she is admitted to the Grove, a mental institution.
- I was her neighbor and friend back when she lived wither her husband...
- How do you know Alicia?
- Theo Faber is given a position at the Grove. He is enthusiastic about Alicia's case which motivated him to apply. He asks the head therapist, Diomedes, if he may treat her, and Diomedes agrees.
- I can't wait to entangled myself with you again, Kathy.
- Me too, I can't wait to see you again.
- After seeing Alicia for their first session, Theo requests for her dosage to be lowered, as he wishes for her to be more alert. After getting the approval for this decision by Diomedes he consults Christian with the idea. Although hesitant at first, Christian does lower her dosage.
- You may not longer treat Alicia. She will be placed in isolation and resume her medication.
- Since Theo is not able to get Alicia to speak, He decides to investigate on his own. He interviews her family and friends for information. When he meets Barbie, Alicia's former neighbor, he find out that she had been followed by a man on the days leading up to Gabriel's murder.
- At home, Theo gets high on Marijuana one night and discovers on Kathy's laptop that she had been sending obscene emails to another man using an online alias. Theo then becomes paranoid, and begins following his wife around checking her laptop, hoping for another chance to see her emails.

- After Alicia attacked Theo during their therapy session and another patient with a paint brush she is placed into isolation. She also resumes her high dosage of medication. He has one last meeting with her secretly, in which she gives him her diary which has entries leading up to Gabriel's murder. In this diary, Theo finds out that Christian had been treating Alicia illegally.
