Storyboard Text

  • Scene One: What Happened?
  • Omg Ashlyn what are YOU doing here!? You know this isn't trash to fash right... ahaha!
  • Oh... I.. uh, I know
  • Scene Two: Feelings
  • I look absolutely ridiculous in these clothes! Why can't I just be cool and dress cool like Patricia... Maybe I could if my mum would actually buy me some nice clothes for once!
  • Scene Three: Behaviour and Impact
  • Ashlyn darling what's wrong!?
  • That's not very nice Ashlyn! Please, that hurts my feelings...
  • What's wrong is that you can't be bothered to buy me any nice clothes! Ugh, I hate you!
  • It was Fashion Week in Auckland and Ashlyn could not be more excited to watch the parade, but little did she know that Patricia, the most awful girl in school, would be there to turn her day from wonderland to hell.
  • Scene Four: Self-Awareness
  • Why did I let what Patricia said get to me? I was so mean to my mum and I feel really bad...
  • Ashlyn was crushed, why on earth did she think she could go to fashion week when she didn't know anything about fashion! She looked hideous in her second hand clothes, if only her mum could buy her some real fashion...
  • Scene Five: Regulation
  • Twenty minutes later and Ashlyn burst into her home sobbing, right away her mother came to comfort but Ashlyn pushed her away. After all it was her mum's fault for not buying her nice clothes!
  • Scene Six: Repair Relationships
  • Mum, I'm so sorry about the way I talked to you, it was so unfair of me to get mad like that and blame it on you.
  • Alone in her room, Ashlyn's anger began to fade away, replaced by the horror of how she spoke to her mum. Ashlyn's mum was always doing kind things for her and Ashlyn shouldn't have spoken to her that way.
  • Watching old videos and photos of her family and friends helped Ashlyn to calm down and remember that she loved her family and they loved her back.
  • I can't blame someone's mean words on my family, I love them all and they would never do anything to hurt me.
  • After apologising to her mum it felt like a huge weight was lifted off Ashlyn's shoulders. Her mum had remined her that her family would always support her so she needed to treat them kindly in return. Afterall, family is forever.
  • She's apologised and realised her mistakes, I won't hold this against her.
