- Before the Renaissance was the Middle Ages, where religion was dominating this era, religous faith and the Catholic Church was the norm. (sub conjunction and appositive in one sentence, boom)
- Italy being the birthplace of The Renaissance
- The biggest change in beliefs was Humanism, the believers did not focus on heaven nor hell, they focused on science, and learning, along with stressing about the now, not the future
- Outside ideas and Religons effecting The Renaissance
- i will use that information to improve my arts and learning and trade for wealth
- this slide basically explains its self, humanism (god is saying he doesnt matter as much) , specularism (wanting your own ideas), individualism (focusing on how to make life better)

- today well be learning about humanism and art
- this slide explains how I assume the patron interactions were set (dont take my word for it). But the slide gives a big example of italy and what was going on in the rich people and artist world.

- Trade seemed to run the world at this time, getting to china, the middle east, and so on. of course they made some knowledge trades and interactions, in this slide it shows a muslim person willing to give the italian some informaton on what he knows

- Scholars would travel from around europe, to italy, learning about the culture chnge and the mindset change which effected everyone with time, in this slide theres scholars learning about humanism.
