- After the gang chases down the Socs that attacked Ponyboy, they gather around and talk about the attack and if they want to go down to the movies.
- Climax
- When the Socs find out that Ponyboy and Johnny had picked up their girls, they went for them and tried to drown Ponyboy, to save him Johnny stabs bob and kills him, they escape and find shelter at a church.
- Falling Action
- When Dally came to visit the boys they go out but they come back with the church on fire and full of children, they save the children but Johnny saves Pony from a falling plank he has major injuries and is taken to the hospital.
- Conclusion
- While Johnny is at the hospital the Socs and the Greasers have a fight in which the Socs left first but they are too late, as they rush to the hospital to tell Johnny the good news, Johnny dies.
- Dally is so devastated by Johnny's death and feels like he has nothing to live for so he fills up with rage, robs a store, points an unloaded gun to policemen so they shoot him which its exactly what he wants.
- After dally was killed the gang was fine but it would never be the same, so many things happened that they will never forget, but Ponyboy is writing a story for one of his classes and its about, The Greasers.
