  • Marlina is sewing uniforms for the men in the Revolutionary War, while Amy is cleaning, cooking, washing dishes, and doing laundry. She also takes care of her daughter while at home.
  • The British are coming!!
  • Amy is helping a wounded soldier because he was shot during the war. She was very skilled at this job. Amy helped a lot of wounded sildiers during this time.
