Hi everyone! I'm Tyler Professor in a university. Welcome to my channel. Today I'm gonna tell about the history of computer.
Computers began on 19th century with English professor named Charles Babbage, who designed Analytical engine.
In 1943 an electronic computer named the Colossus which was built for military.
First generation started in 1937 with the first electronic digital computer by Dr. John V. Atanasoff and Clifford Berry
Computers started using memory, operating systems and storage media such as tapes and disk.
In 1946 the first general-purpose digital computer was built.
In third generation the integrated circuit was invented with this circuit computers became smaller, powerful and reliable. Allowed the device to run many different applications at one time.
1971 computer space was released, one of the earliest electronic arcade games.
In 1951 the first commercial computer was introduced.
The history continues with the second generation (1947 to 1962) in which computers started using transistors
Fourth generation computers also saw the development of GUIs, the mouse andhandheld devices.
The microprocessor brought the fourth generation of computers, as thousands of integratedcircuits were built onto a single silicon chip.
1980 Microsoft Disk Operating System was created
And the fifth generation are still in development, though there are some applications, such as voice recognition.
