- Sorry bud but we found out that Leslie um..... Died.

- I'm sorry Jesse but it's the truth
- ARE YOU INSANE JESSE!? IF JIMMY DICKS DIED I WOULDN'T BE ABLE TO EAT A BITE!!!

- When Jesse got home from the museum with Ms. Edmund's his mom and Maybelle were crying for they thought he had died and Jesse's dad had to tell him that Leslie died when he was gone.
- We are going to Leslie's funeral you have to come and repay your respects to her.
- Jesse goes running to the the little cliff to get to Terabithia and see's that the rope indeed did die.
- Can I take the wood that is behind your house then?
- We had only come here for Leslie and so we are gonna move so um yeah sure bud.
- The next morning Jesse was still not believing it and at breakfast Brenda went off on him for not feeling sad or even crying a bit.

- After Jess put some use to the wood he got
- Jesse is sad again but the funeral is happening so his parents want him to go and pay his respects to Leslie and her parents.
- Leslie's dad tells him how they are gonna move away since they had came there for Leslie's good and now she's gone, so Jesse takes this chance to make the better of Terabithia so he asks for the wood behind their house and Leslie's father says yes.
- After he uses the wood that Mr. Burke gave him to make a safe bridge to Terabithia for Maybelle he then announces that Maybelle is now the new queen for Terabithia.
