- The story took place in the Mallard's home and Josephine and Richard begin to tell Mrs.Mallard that her husband is dead.

- Mrs.Mallard then goes up into to her room to contemplate what is her new life now.And realize's that she is free to live her own life.
- Falling Action/Theme
- While she is in her room, Josephine follows her sister and show's some concern of her sister's emotional,and physical state.But Mrs.Mallard is nothing but trilled with the idea of her freedom.
- I'm fine let me be please.
- Finally Mr.s Mallard leaves the room and begins to go down the stare's when she suddenly see's her husband standing right in front of her.
- I'm back did ya'll miss me?
- She then faint's and then the doctor submitted her as dead,all because over the cost of her freedom is what killed her in the inside, not her heart.
