On June the 7th Plessy was jailed for siting in the "white" car just because his grandmother was black but no one else in his family was.

He could easily pass as being white but he was down as being black and was required to sit in the "coloured" car.
No! you are not aloud, your grandmother is black!

On purpose Plessy sat in the white section and identified himself of being black so he could get attention. For what he done he was arrested and the case went all the way to the Union States Supreme Court.
He broke the law but his lawyer believed that he was in the right and the law was wrong.
No it is all fair and everything is equal
Despite this the court disagreed and said that it was equal and everything was fair.
This court case became known as "seperate but equal" desicion and legalized segregation in America.
This is now going to be called the "Seperate but equal" decision
