- I am king charles the first my wife is catholic and I was executed for putting catholic worships in the protestant church.
- Why are we being executed?!
- After the reign of terror I´m gonna take over as emperor
- Because you taxed the poor to much and you spent large amounts of money on extravagant things.
- Its horrible that we have to pay 50% of our income to the first and second estate .
- I know! Now how am I supposed to feed my family!
- King charles the first was a horrible king who put catholic worships into the protestant church. He thought that divine right was good because it gave him power. He was killed for putting catholic worships into the protestant church. Parliament led after this death.
- King Louis XVI and Queen Antoinette were the last king and queen of france. they liked diving right because it gave them more power. They were killed because they made lots of poor decisions during their time ruling. Napoleon was a french army general who crowned himself emperor of france, he did not like divine right because it was not equal rights for everyone else, he was not killed he died because of stomach cancer. Maximilien Robespierre was a french lawyer and politician who started the reign of terror after he executed the king and queen he did not like divine right because it gave the king and queen more power, he was killed because he was killing everyone who was against the republic.
- After the king and queen were executed there was this document written called the Declaration of the Right of Man and Citizen. This document gave more rights to the people and lowered taxes. Before this the people in the Third Estate had to pay 50% of their income in taxes.
