- After he 3 years of selling produces from his family farm he used his money to buy 5 house at dirt cheep price and rented to families.
- In 1976 he ran for president and defeated president Gerald Ford. ¨Carter became the first president to walk down pennsylvania Avenue from the capitol to the White House.¨
- ¨In 2002 he received the Nobel Peace Prize for his decades of untiring effort to find peaceful solution to international conflicts and advance democracy.¨
