- since mom is taking us to the store lets make a budget to use before spending
- oh so that´s what a budget is but what is the 50%,. 30%, 20% rule?
- a budget is a way to save money and to help you make great choices and save budget uses 50%, 30%, 20% rule
- oh okay i get it now! but how does budgeting help
- the 50%, 30%, 20% rule is a plan that helpsyou save money 50% for needs 30% for wants and you save 20% for savings
- okay now that i fully get it i can do the math to tell us what to spend
- a budget helps us with saving money by controlling your expenses and taking away wasteful spending
- okay so since we only have 200 dollars to spend we will spend 100 dollars on needs like food and drinks 60 dollars on wants like candy and snacks and we will save 40 bucks
- yes that is right great job now lets go and get the stuff
- mom guess what i learned how to budget from sis and i have our budget plan to shop at the store today
