Gatsby Waits Outside Daisy's House
Gatsby argues with Tom and claims that Daisy has only ever love him, and not Tom. However, Tom accuses Gatsby of bootlegging, and Daisy admits she has loved them both.
Daisy was driving Gatsby’s yellow sports car and killed Myrtle on their way back home. A local named Michaelis witnessed the accident and reported it to the police. When Tom saw the accident he was shaking with anger.
Gatsby waits outside the house to make sure that Daisy is alright. Gatsby admits Daisy was the one driving the car that hit Myrtle. Nick says he will check on Daisy, only to see that Daisy and Tom have reconciled their affairs and are eating together.
