- The Start of WW2.Hitler and the Nazi's invaded Poland in 1939 which triggered the start of World War 2.
- The Atomic Bomb The Atomic bomb was discovered by German scientists after they split uranium in half and noticed that it could cause serious damage. The Atomic bomb killed 200,000 people in Hiroshima.
- The Holocaust The Holocaust was an invent in which the Nazi's wanted to exterminate the Jews. In total, almost more than 6 million Jews died throughout the whole war.
- D-Day InvasionIn the morning of 1944, the greatest seaborne invasion took place in Normandy, France. Some 2,500 soldiers died in the invasion in which there were tanks, missiles, and machine guns.
- Japan at WarJapan was in the war at three different fonts. The Japanese were known as very tough fighters because they never gave up and fought to the death.
- The Battle of the Atlantic A fierce battle raged between the Germans and the allies, the allies were British and Irish soldiers, although Ireland was neutral at the time, they back stabbed the Nazi's and came out with a victory. In total 72,000 soldiers did and many more were injured.
