Storyboard Text

  • Once upon a time in East Africa a monster called Shing'weng'we swallowed all people and domesticated animals in the world except one pregnant woman who hid in a pile of chaff
  • Ahhh!!!
  • Shh, I'm hiding!
  • Later this woman gave birth to a boy named Masala Kulangwa. When he grew up he asked 'where are the other people' and his mother told him about the terrible monster and that they were the only people left
  • From that day on he started looking for the monster. He returned with a grasshopper, bird, gazelle and antelope but his mother told him that they weren't the monster
  • I found him!
  • No, that's just a grasshopper
  • Finally Masala killed the monster and cut open his back. Out came his father and everyone else that the monster swallowed
  • Hey son!
  • I killed the monster!!
  • Unfortunately, when he split open the monsters back he cut of the ear of an old woman. The woman became very angry and wanted to bewitch him but Masala found medicine and healed her
  • You cut my ear off! I shall bewitch you!
  • I shall heal you
  • Then all the people declared Masala chief and raised him to the chieftain's chair. He became the chief of the whole world!
