Macbeth is telling Banquo to stick with him when the time comes ( King Duncan die). It shows that Macbeth is ambitious and a power person who wants to become the king.

After Macbeth talks to Banquo, Banquo tells him that he will do whatever Macbeth orders him to do as long as he has a clear conscience. It shows that Banquo is also ambitious like Macbeth and want to get benefit from Macbeth after Macbeth become the king.
So I lose none in seeking to augment it, but still keep my bosom franchised and allegiance clear, I shall be counselled.
After Macbeth regret to kill King Duncan, Lady Mcbeth told him that he did nothing wrong. Even Macbeth kills King Duncan, Lady Macbeth feels nothing and even encourages Macbeth that it's correct. It shows that she is a cold-blooded person.

Macbeth is the violent and vicious person in here who kill the king. But he acts like he is not the one who did it and fakes his feeling about the death of King Ducan.

Donalbain, the younger son of Ducan feels scared about his own safety after knowing his father's death. He is a timid and weak person, same as his older brother who doesn't care about their father's death but only themselves.
