- Event: Being apart of Footloose
- A person I am close with: My Brother
- Challenge: Stress
- One personal event that has impacted me is being a part of the school's production of footloose. This was my first high school musical that I have been a part of. I met a lot of new people and made tons of new friends that have started to bring me out of my shell.
- Text I have read: The Hate You Give
- Someone who I am close with is my oldest brother Tahj. We have a great bond and can always make each other laugh. He has introduced me to a lot of activities and hobbies that I enjoy and we have a lot in common.
- World Event: Police Brutality Protests
- One challenge that I have overcome this year is constantly being stressed. The whole year I have been really busy with soccer, cheer, and theatre, and as a result of that, I wouldn't get work done. I. think that through this year I have learned how to have balance.
- One book that I read that made an impact on me was The Hate You Give by Angie Thomas. I related to the character trying to fit in with two different groups of people. it also gave me a new perspective because I didn't notice a lot of racist things that are said or things I have heard until I read this book.
- One world event that affected me was the police brutality and the protests. This affected me because the victims that got hurt or killed were people that look like me and know the same people that I do. It made me realize how big the problem is and that it can happen to anyone.
