This is a personification that shows how loud the sound of the door being ripped off it's hinges was. The film crew cowered in front of him, scared of what Harrison might do.
HELP!!!
I am the Emperor! Do you hear? I am the Emperor! Everybody must do what I say at once!
Harrison claims that the first ballerina who dares rise up will be his empress. A moment passed, and then a ballerina arose, swaying like a willow. This is a simile that shows that the ballerina was hesitant in getting up, but she did. Harrison removes her handicaps to reveal her beauty.
Maybe I should be his empress?
Everyone shall listen to me!
I shall now choose my Empress!
Diana Moon Glampers, the Handicapper General, whose beauty is described with a simile. "She was blindingly beautiful. She looked like the queen." This simile compares her to the queen which shows her authority over others as well. She went into the studio with a gun, and shot both Harrison and his empress.
