- Oh no! We're surrounded! And there's no one else around. *sigh* I guess it's my fault.
- Attack! You are not alone!
- 3 years later. Alvin is very now 4 years old: very old for a mouse, and is a colony elder.
- Take that you trash-throwing, mice-capturing, forest destroying imbeciles!
- Alvin, why do you look so unhappy? The people and their children are on the run! It doesn't seem like any human will be staying in our forest any longer.
- But mom, if you and all of the others didn't come and rescue us, we wouldn't be here anymore! I'm just a reckless failure.
- I know you are all overjoyed over our victory over the humans last night, but I recklessly put a few of us in danger. I can never let this happen again, so I will have to appoint a more cautious mouse as our new chief of operations.
- Winter is here again, and our colony will, for the fourth time in my memory, suffer. It may be my last winter, but my instinct made me one of the most famous mice in the world. What a time to be alive!
