- They packed bricks and mud and they added stones and tree branches to the walls and roof.
- In paleolithic times, trade
- I am trading my sheep for the donkey.
- To cook they dug pits into the floor lined with clay and filled some pits with water and adds stones to make water boil. They also have several rooms.

- I only got 5 more miles till I find myself some new animals to trade.
- The houses protected them from harsh weather and wild animals. They had new ways of cooking and they also had more comfort. This allowed them to form bigger communities.

- We traded to get resources that we didn't have.
- Traders often traveled hundreds of miles to find what they wanted.
- Trade allowed us to make use of more resources, help spread ideas and knowledge, and meet new cultures from distant places.
