After a long day of school Claudette Colvin gave the busa driverthe ticket that allowed her and her classmates to take the bus to go home.
Claudette got onto the bus and began to move to the back of the bus were the rest of her class mates were sitting but noticed that there were many open seats.
Are you going to get up!?!
Claudette and three of her friends noticed that there was nobody in the front rows so they took a seat in the front of the bus. The driver yelled at them telling them they're not allowed to sit there because there black. Claudette and her friends refused to move and still sat in the front seat.
Your under arrest!
the bus driver stared to yell at them telling them to move to a different seat in the back but they wouldn't move.
The three of them would not move even thought the women was telling them to. They wouldn't move because the women could sit in the other open seat but because Claudette and her friends were black they were told to move to the back.
Claudette was taken off the bus by police officers and was put into jail. She was soon released and many people had heard what she had done and many others followed after her.
