- Christopher Columbus traveled to Portugal in (1476) to learn about Portuguese shipbuilding and sailing
- We grow maize,pumpkin's, and tobacco. Our people also hunt for deer's everyone helps around here.
- Christopher Columbus wanted to be sponsored to explore the west to Asia for glory and wealth.He shared his idea to the Spanish monarchs Ferdinand and Isabella and he was sponsored by them.
- Columbus started on his journey with 3 ships the Nina, the Pinta, and the Santa Maria and he discovered most of the Caribbean Islands with his sailors and took back the information to his sponsers.

- Christopher Columbus had very limited resources to help him on his voyages. He mainly used the map and compass, the map helped him guide himself and his crew through shortcuts and the compass helped Columbus guide him the right way. These 2 technologies helped Christopher Columbus complete his voyages.
- In 1506, May 20th Christopher Columbus died from congestive heart failure in Valladolid, Spain.
