- please take this baby somewhere and kill it
- this baby is born with a curse to kill the father and marry the mother, and although it may be sad we need to end this curse by killing this baby.
- He did in fact grow up to live out his curse but he was unaware that it would have happened. He grew up with different parents and ran away to try to prevent the curse and ended up killing his biological dad and marrying his biological mother and having 4 kids.

- Antigone ask her sister to help burry her brother. Ismene says she can not help because the law forbids it and she does not want to get in trouble by Creon because he says that if someone buries him he will stone them to death in the public square. Antigone says the crime is holy because she wants to be as dear to him as he was to her, and she believes that the gods laws mean more.

- Polyneices brings war to Eteocles over not gaining his spot of honor as king when they agreed on switching spots. In the war they both kill each other and only Eteocles is honored because he fought back for the country during war.
- I declare no peace for Polyneices and anyone hat try's to bury him will gain many harmful consequences
- Creon decides that he wants to honor Eteocles because he fought back for his country and died while doing so but he does not want to honor Polynices because he brought war and is a traitor. For this reason Creon thinks that Polynices should not deserve a proper burial which is against the gods laws.
- I am doing what is right and what the gods are telling me to do.
- Antigone buried the body of her brother. Creon is shocked and upset at what she has done and expects to kill her. She says that her excuse is that if she left her brother unburied she might as well suffered herself.
